Preamble
World of Padman started with the first release as a modification of the game Quake 3 Arena in the year 2004, after about 2 years of development time. Now, it has appeared as an independent and standalone game on April 1st 2007, it is available for free download to everyone. The barrier of Quake 3 Arena as a banned game in Germany is taken now, because for WoP it's not required anymore. The path for the community is free onward and the WoP-Team looks forward to the first custom maps. Everything you need and consider for makeing your own maps can be found in the following chapters. If things appear incomprehensible to you or are explained insufficiently, feel free to contact us. We are open for any suggestions and constructive criticism and are pleased about your feedback.

Please post suggestions and constructive criticism into the forum.
